窝:Modular Office Organizers

I first started out by sketching my design, which went through many iterations. At first, I was designing based on the assumption that I would be creating the entire organizer in a silicone mold. However, after prototyping, I realized that it was not feasible to make a mold that big, being so new to mold-making. Thus, the design was modified to contain a core basin cast from a silicone mold, with wood joints to connect the pieces.

Summative reflection: after finishing the production process, the things I would change is spending more time on prototyping, to ensure that the final product efficient and makes sense. While there are things I would do differently, I also am greatly appreciative about this opportunity to build 3D modeling skills and see my designs come to life. Overall it was a very rewarding experience from start to finish.
